“Emma helped me create a mantra that ‘this isn’t permanent’ but also enabled me with the map to see that although the situation is complex and overwhelming, that actually when it is broken down I am addressing all the essential areas in sustainable and appropriate ways.”

So many of us are missing time to really think

In our ‘always on’ busy lives, how often do we carve out time for thinking of the highest calibre?

To go deep into what motivates us, our values, our limiting beliefs, our wants, and our needs.

We might reach ‘a certain age’ and realise that we have been prioritising everyone else around us… ourselves, not so much! For someone on the brink of making a leap of faith into a new career, exploring the edges of our thinking with a thinking partner can be transformative.

For senior leaders, carving out protected time and space to think can help you cut through the noise and emerge with clarity.

For those who are stepping into a leadership role for the first time, having a safe space to explore what kind of leader we want to be, can create unshakeable confidence.

For individuals returning to work after parental leave, coaching can provide the scaffolding to create a successful re-entry and a platform to thrive.

What kind of change are you navigating?

Helping you navigate change…

Whether it’s considering a new career direction, a role change, leading a new team, or just figuring out what it is you want to do with your one wild and precious life.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I get it. If you’ve never experienced the power of coaching before then it can seem daunting. That’s why I always recommend a discovery call first so you can feel totally comfortable with how this works. Establishing rapport is key. Hop on over to the Contact page to get in touch or book a free discovery call.

  • I coach across a broad spectrum of topics, including but not limited to:

    • Organizational change and transformation

    • Individuals returning to work after parental leave

    • Career change and planning for ‘unretirement’

    • Peri/menopause challenges

    • Managing the ‘midlife collision’

    • Exploring ‘imposter feelings’ and limiting beliefs

I take a ‘neuro-inclusive’ approach and am actively upskilling to ensure I can support ND individuals - please let me know if you need any adjustments or support, for this or indeed any reason.

  • There’s no obligation to commit to a ‘set’ number of sessions, but generally in our discovery call we’ll agree together on how many sessions are needed initially, and we can add more if you wish to once that block of sessions ends. (If your coaching is funded by your employer, they may stipulate a set number of sessions.)

  • I know that with busy roles it can be tricky to fit in coaching during the working day. Please email me to enquire about evening availability - I’m always happy to offer evening slots by appointment.

  • Absolutely! Please ask your L&D contact (or the person who books coaching) to get in touch with me and I’ll be happy to send them my details. Email emma@thetripleshift.org or send them the link to my Contact page.

  • Great question! The ICF defines coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.” Sounds pretty good right? What coaching is NOT is me telling you what to do! It is also very different to mentoring - if you’re unsure if coaching is for you, book a discovery call and we can chat!
